Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How and where do we meet?

A: We will meet online through a video conversation. You will receive a link to join the session, and there is no need for any installation. It is a convenient web-based platform that allows us to connect.

Q: What can I expect in the first session?

A: The first free session is an introduction where we can get to know each other. You will have the opportunity to describe what you're looking for, share your specific issue, and discuss your expectations. This hour is dedicated to ensuring your comfort and safety with me as your therapist. It's essential for you to feel that I am the right person for you, and you are free to say "no, thank you" if you don't feel the connection.

Q: How long will it take to see improvement?

A: I think this is one of the most important questions for the clients and I don't think any therapist knows the answer to it.

 

As a client we would love to know the dead line, how much money we have to put aside, when we finally will feel better...


I am to address the root causes of your issues rather than providing quick fixes for symptoms. The time it takes to heal is unique. Just to give some examples, the factors it depends on can be:

- how deep the cause is,

- how long it's been there (it is going to be different for someone who has been in a situation since their birth and someone who has experienced negative issue just recently),

- if you tap in between the sessions or not,

- your own personal readiness and willingness to explore and address challenging emotions and situations.

 

REMEMBER:

- You are in control of the pace and speed of our sessions.

- It's okay to take take breaks, stop sessions, go on holidays, take the time you need.

- Do not feel pressured to achieve immediate results within a specific timeframe.

- During the sessions you learn various methods so that you can apply them yourself when you feel you're ready for it.

The sessions are for you, I am here for you. No the other way around.

Q: Where should I be during the session?

A: Choose a place where you feel safe and comfortable, such as a chair or sofa. It's important to have a seating arrangement that allows your back to rest comfortably. We recommend avoiding public places as our sessions involve private discussions. Some techniques may also require you to relax and close your eyes.

Q: How does a typical session look like? 

A: In the first few sessions, we will focus on getting to know you better and understanding the details of the issue you want to work on. Each session may vary in terms of techniques used and their intensity, depending on the specific issue we are addressing. Some sessions may involve tapping techniques, while others may incorporate NLP methods. There may also be sessions that involve more open discussions and self-discovery.

Q: What is my involvement in the therapy process?

A: I would love you to actively participate and use tapping in between our sessions. When you meet your therapist once a week or every second week and only address the issue then, it creates long pause and distance between you and the issue and in reality doesn't promote the progress.

 

I strongly recommend creating a list of issues that negatively impact you emotionally. Each issue should be written as a separate point, with relevant details, and rated on a scale of 0 to 10, indicating the level of negative emotional charge. Your involvement and commitment contribute significantly to your progress and growth.

There's also another side of the list: tapping on lack of something: lack of love, lack of presence of someone or something, lack of feeling feelings when thinking about a situation that you think should bring up emotions like e.g.: anger, grief, sadness.
